I spent a decade as a product manager, then four years running architecture and engineering, which mostly means I have spent twenty years arguing those are the same job. The rest of the time I am printing shirts, shipping small apps, or out with a camera.

About me

The job has always been the same: find where a business is losing money or leaving it on the table, then ship the thing that fixes it.

I run a 44-person technology organization across product, engineering, infrastructure and support, with a $15M budget mapped to the business services it funds. Before that I was a product manager at Apptio, Numerify and Rexel, where I learned the pattern that still drives every decision I make: deep customer understanding, a platform bet, measurable money.

What has my attention now is making a technology organization AI-native, which turns out to be a people problem wearing a tooling costume. Studied philosophy, religious studies and photojournalism at the University of Oregon, which explains more about how I run a roadmap than the resume lets on.

Now
VP of Technology, Infrastructure & Digital Services at USESI. 44 people, $15M budget, eight brands.
Before
Rexel, Healthsparq, Numerify, Apptio, Clearwire.
Base
Portland, Oregon. Remote-first, happy to travel.
